[WurmWald] [maidens] August business meeting

Hi all,
This is my Exchequer / Maidens report.
The Urbana City Council meeting was postponed, but Tim
Johnson (:p) is having a town hall meeting at the U Civic
Center, and I'm going to listen.
As I wrote before, I wish the Chancellor hadn't closed. I'm
nominally down as event steward (for reserving the date), but
I'd rather just be troll. I'll be at the table all day and
don't normally stay awake until the end.
Last spring, Folo reported about other hotels he checked. As
far as I remember, there wasn't further input. There isn't a
contract signed. We'll need to have planning discussions
and/or decisions after Pennsic.
About 2005 Maidens: I got distracted by the unhappy news
about Chancellor and didn't finish up, except to send the NMS
check (which Kingdom hasn't cashed yet). I haven't sent St.
Carol a check for their share yet.
Repeating what I said in less detail last spring:
Income: $2671
Site: -$1634.74, refund of $263.07 (for # of room rentals)
Food: -$409.66
Supplies: -$338.94
Printing -$61.46
Postage: -$18.44
----
Profit: 329.83
However, some of the supplies (Hospital bracelets for kid's
site tokens & a new list poll set) shouldn't be, I think,
fully charged to the event, so if those are at about 20%,
then the profit is closer $440, so I should send St. Carol a
check for $220.
Note: No expenses were turned in for the children's
activities were turned in for reimbursement. If a letter to
me got lost in the mail, please contact me.
