[WurmWald] brainstorm about demo at Urbana Free Library

As a follow-up to Quad Day and the Renaissance Faire,
we will be having a demo-night at the Urbana Free
Library on September 8 (Thursday) from 7:00pm to
8:45pm. 

Right now, we don't have anything set in stone, but
ideas right now are revolving around lots of color and
decorations, period food to nibble (yay, a place that
will let us have outside food!), dancing with optional
audience-participation, arts and science displays,
something for the kids to do (color a shield?). The
ceilings aren't high enough to do a fighting
demonstration, but if anyone has armor, it would be
nice if you could wear it and talk about SCA-style
fighting.

Let's get talking about this! This demo is a great
opportunity to get some new blood into the group and
make a stronger SCA presence in the area. Please post
your ideas and thoughts here.
