We're looking for a few good swordsmen...and we've
been keeping tabs on 
you 
so we know where you sleep. Become a part of the last
defense against 
penguin atrocities at Festival of Maidens 33, on 21
January 2006 in 
Urbana, 
Illinois. Here are the latest updates from Operation
Penguin Storm by 
the 
Penguin Protector Plenipotentiary Officer:

The bloc of SCA rooms will be closing on 6 January.
Please note that 
you 
cannot reserve in a bloc on line; please reserve on
the phone 
at  800.251.1962 or 217.384.8800; mention 249325 to
reserve in the SCA 
bloc. There were still 23 rooms in the bloc available
as of today.

We are running out of prime vendor spots. If you have
asked for space 
but 
haven't sent in the reservation, please do so quickly.
If you have sent 
in 
a reservation but haven't heard from me, please
contact me. Applicants 
from 
this point on be will limited to a single space, and
we will be 
maintaining 
a waiting list. The deadline for reservations is 15
January.

There will be no organized youth educational
opportunities.

We are still looking for classes and teachers. For

People volunteering to wear penguin camo suits should
contact Lord Opus 
of 
Bloom. But be careful; we heard there may be sleeper
cells already in 
place.
