Here is the info for this week's armoring & fighting:

Greetings all...a note about the Sunday Fun Day at Olaf's Stronghold this Sunday, October 8th. We will have the armory open from 2pm-6pm if folks want to work on their armor or on the pell, but Olaf may not be available all afternoon since the roofers are coming Monday or Tuesday (yay!) and he will be finishing up a inside project that has to be done before they get here, plus cleaning up around the outside of the house so those guys can get in there and do their job. I will also not be available, since I will be at the theatre for King Lear from 1pm onwards. But folks are welcome to come! And if enough people bring their armor, there may be fighting.

If you need a ride, please post here and we'll see what we can do. Directions are below for any new folks. If you are coming & have room in your car, please post that too.

Cass,

DIRECTIONS to the Strong's:

(From Charleston)- Take Rt. 130 north out of town. After 5 miles you will see a sign that says, Fairgrange Bushton Rardin but DO NOT turn there!

Take a RIGHT at the next road (should be 6 miles from town). The sign there will say Humboldt (but you will be heading toward Bushton not Humboldt) There is also a sign for the Bushton Christian Church. This is road 1500N.

Follow 1500N for 1 3/4 miles. We live in a mostly red house on the right-hand side of the road. There are lots of trees, an old house trailer, a big white metal pole barn and a few falling-down red barns. If you reach Bushton you have gone TOO FAR, turn around and go back.

Olaf's cell - 549-2905 if you get lost.

If you are coming from farther away than Charleston, email me at tstrong at cell1net.net for directions.

Thanks all!

Cass

Our friends down south (and over a bit) in St Carol
(Charleston) are having regular fighter practices. I'm
posting the info here for those who are interested.
They'd be happy to have you join them!

And at our Monday business meeting, we will be talking
about the possibility of having a joint Fighter
Practice/Family Fun Day between WurmWald and St Carol.
Come with ideas!

I have put together information on armoring standards,
rules of the list, fighting conventions, definitions
and some excerpts from some fighting treatises for you
to use a resources if you are interested in fighting.
We can meet at the library quad at about 2:00, as Cass

had suggested and those of us who want can go up to
the Casey room on the third floor of the Union and run
through the information.

If you have any questions let me know.

I've got some things duplicated to go through for the
new fighters- hope to see you at 2:00. If we aren't
in the library quad, we will be in the Casey room on
the third floor of the Union.
