[WurmWald] Newcomer's Meeting this Sunday

Greetings!

This Sunday, August 27, from 3-5pm we are going to be having our post-Quad
Day Newcomer's Meeting! Where? Well, somewhere in the Illini Union, but we
aren't sure of the room yet...

Anyway, we need as many people as possible to come and show what the SCA has
to offer! Please come dressed in your best show-off garb, bring armor if you
have it either for show and tell or for fighting (there's lots of grassy
areas on the Quad, right outside the Union), your Arts and Science
artifacts, any books or articles you find interesting, and your best
attitude and show our potential new members how fun (and educational, don't
forget that) the SCA can be.

As soon as we find out the room number, we will post it here. We should know
it sometime tomorrow. We've also requested help from our surrounding groups,
so we might even get some visitors! If you can make it, please reply to this
post and give us some idea of what you can bring (no food or drinks from
non-Union sources, sorry) so that Marina and I can start working on how we
want to structure the meeting (don't worry, it won't be *that* structured!).
