General Meeting minutes for January 9, 2006

Present: Yana, Marina, Milly, Folki, BA, Martin,
Martina

I. Seneschal (Yana): domesday will get sent tomorrow,
on time. Kingdom Cartographer's map link to us has
been updated.

II. MoAS (Milly): We are scheduled for A&S Days at the
Urbana Free Library every 3rd Sunday of the month up
to August. Sewing Day on January 15 from 2:00-4:30pm
(we will also be making list-rope pennons).

III. Herald (Marina): domesday was sent in on time

IV. Exchequer (Bera): not present, domesday due at end
of January

V. Web: please think about what info and content
people want on the website

VI. Dance: Erika is resigning as dance-mistress,
effective immediately. All of the Union's larger rooms
are full, Milly will look into alternative meeting
areas. No dance meetings scheduled currently.

VII. Illinois Renaissance Faire: Their
demo-coordinator has already contacted us. Yana told
him that we would like some more information on past
years before committing to the 2006 Fair. So far, we
want info on the previous 2 years' attendance. What
other info do we want?

VIII. Recruiting: We need to contact people who signed
interest sheets last year (and will need to contact
people again post-Maidens). Yana would appreciate some
help getting info to these people.

IX. Maidens: 
Folo has flyers to post that advertise the
free-to-watch fighting.
We will not be having the "Auk in any medium" contest,
just the dress-a-beastie one.
The Info Table will have sign-up sheets and bookmarks
with SCA info to pass out. 
Volunteers are needed on Friday before Maidens from
6-930 for fighting-lists setup.
Set up on Saturday morning starts at 7am.
We need volunteers on Saturday afternoon to tear down
the heavy-fighting lists. The area has to be
*completely* cleaned up before the Mall closes.
