Unto Lady Meg ny Devlin, Greetings!

Hi, Meg. Yes, the website is pretty much up-to-date. However, it
looks like our Dance Guild is about to resurrect itself...stay tuned
to this channel for details.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions.

I hope the info on the website is accurate regarding the monthly meeting and monthly A&S gathering as I plan on attending them. I was wondering if there is anything else going on in the area. I would like to participate in the following: fighter practices - although my armor is not complete yet, armoring - to complete said armor, textile stuff - much i would like to learn and a little that i already know, middle eastern drumming and belly dancing, court dance practices, bardic stuff, calligraphy & illumination - not experienced but wanting to learn, costuming, and cooking. If any of you do these activities and would be interested in a companion, student, or whatever, please let me know. I have taken a break from SCA for the most part for about five years and am currently in a place where I'm ready and eager to jump back in. From what I can tell the local group isn't as active as I'm used to in other places I've lived... at least not from what I've picked up on the website. I am also interested in car-pooling to events. I love going to stuff, but as gas prices increase it's becoming more difficult to do so. I have a minivan that seats seven at my disposal, so after my daughter and I sqeeze in, there is room for five or for camping events, possibly not that many people. It has a roof top carrier which can stow stuff as well. I am also interested in going to events in our neighboring kingdom Calontir because I used to live there a long time ago and still have many good friends there.
